What is the preferred method of choosing your dance instructor?

If the dance that you are interested is Argentine tango the answer is easy.  Go to local milonga’s and watch the men who proclaim to be dance instructors and choose the one who you would like, to not only learn from, but also dance with. Observe if he has nice floor craft and maintains line of dance nicely , so that he will be able to teach you the same .. How is his musicality skills and posture? Doe’s he walk nicely and seem to be genuinely interested in the follower ? is he a good ,precise and clear leader or does he appear to waiver and be lost or thinking each movement .. with this simple suggestion you may end up saving allot of money by not wasting it- or- your time on picking the wrong Argentine tango dance instructor.

Beginners want to dance like intermediates; intermediates want to dance like advanced dancers; advanced dancers want to dance like the greats; but the greats always go back to basics.
